We struck gold when we got Zach as our trainer for our golden retriever puppy. His patience is unmatched and he always ensures you have all your questions answered, including those from curious kids! :). He expects you to “put in the work and get the reps in” (as we should) but equips you with the tools for success. He motivates you to be your very best and always says “we’re raising a dog, not a puppy” which comes in handy when the stubbornness of your dog rivals your patience. If you have the privilege of getting to work with Sit Happens and Zach, you and your dog are truly the lucky ones.

Ken was our trainer and he was absolutely amazing. Very kind and knows what he is doing. He helped us get to the point where our Belgian Malanois would listen to our commands and stay on a place board until we told him he was “free”. This helps us so much day to day whether it’s someone at the door and we need to open it or I need to cook and don’t want him near the food. 10/10 recommend. They are amazing and caring!!!

We’ve had the best experience working with Alex. Our new puppy has gone from a potty training nightmare maniac into a civilized member of our family. After only four sessions with Alex, Polly follows all four commands consistently and continues making progress every day. The potty training issues have completely resolved themselves and that actually occurred after our first session with Alex. So excited to have our area rugs back!!!

In need of a dog trainer? Zack from Sit Happens is your man! He has helped decrease unwanted behavior, such as pulling and barking, and has increased our dog’s socialization skills. To continue their progress, Zack gave us a daily training schedule that meets our needs and lifestyle.
Zack goes the extra miles to know us and our dogs. He constantly gives suggestions and efficiently returns our calls or texts.
It is clear to me that Zack truly “loves what he does!” He loves the challenges and rewards of working with animals, and is upbeat, humorous and joyous while helping our dogs.
