We saw immediate improvements. We engaged with Sit Happens to help us train our five month old Basset Hound puppy, Maui, and break some bad habits of our five year old Labrador, Bailey. We have worked with other trainers before and we liked this method of training the best as we found it useful and not too aggressive. We saw immediate improvements in Bailey and were able to start working on her bad habits which included not walking well, jumping on people when they come to the door, jumping at people on walks, and not staying in place when we needed her to stay.
Over the past six weeks we have been able to get her to stay with us when walking and not run and jump on new people when they come into our house or want to come over and pet her during the walks. This has been a tremendous help to us and I actually enjoy walking her now and do not get nervous when we come across other people and dogs on walks.

Maui has also done great and we feel that by starting early we would kick the bad habits early on and get her to stay in place and greet people properly. In addition, she walks like a champion and stays right next us and does not try to jump or greet others until we tell her it is okay and we do so in a controlled way. We are continuing to practice with her (practice makes perfect with training) and we are seeing results every day. Bassets are very stubborn but we were able to break that barrier with Maui with consistent practice and great training techniques.
We highly recommend Sit Happens as we saw results in the six sessions we had and we are very happy with how our training for both dogs is going. The key is to practice each night with your dogs as you will definitely see the results with practice. Thank you Sit Happens!
