James was such a big help with my dogs. I adopted a two year old male Great Dane in December 2023 that had never been trained. He was like a 140 pound toddler on wide open all of the time. The first time I tried to walk him he dragged me down and fractured my ribs. I knew I needed help given his size. I had previously had a male Dane that passed and currently have an 8 year old female Dane; so I am familiar with the breed. However training should happen with these dogs much earlier when they are much smaller. James helped me get control of him so that he is a peaceful member of the family. He taught me control techniques to effectively walk him, and during our last session I was having trouble with him fence fighting with my neighbor’s dogs, and he showed both me and my neighbor how to gain control of that situation so that everyone can enjoy the backyard. I highly recommend them for any training needs.

What a terrific experience my husband and I have had with Danny from Sit Happens! Danny is kind, courteous, and he has a wonderful way with dogs. We have a six month old golden retriever and a six year old cocker spaniel. What we needed were two well trained family dogs that would walk, sit, and listen, both at home and in public. This company has the patience of saint's. I not only recommend Sit Happens, but Danny. He was amazing. He helped us get our 1 y/o pit and 9 y/o pupper under control. Danny has been an amazing trainer for my dog. I adopted my dog, Koda from the humane society after he had been abandoned at the shelter at 5 weeks old. Before the training Koda he was fearful of people, other dogs, and new unfamiliar places. He would not listen to me off leash and I was also having a hard time house training him. Despite trying to socialize him on my own, he would not let anyone come near him. He would snap at other people and dogs out of fear.  I knew I really needed help training him after I took him to the vet and he snapped at the vet staff. The vet I took him to recommended me to Sit Happens and I am so glad that picked them to train my dog. After the training Koda is happy to meet new people, he loves meeting and playing with new dogs, I’m able to take him to new places without any issues, and he is completely house trained. Koda has also been doing great off leash. It is like I have a new dog! I never thought he would be as well behaved as he is now. Koda has done so well with the training that he is now on the road to become my own service dog and I’m excited to see what new things he will learn and watch him become the dog I’ve always dreamed of having.

Manny and I just finished our last session of training with Danny from Sit Happens. It was a great experience working with Danny and his sweet very well trained Baron! Danny not only trained Manny but also me as well and helped me to help Manny become a more stable dog on our walks and around other dogs and people. Manny is a work in progress but with the techniques and exercises Danny has taught us I feel more confident in being able to control my dog. I would highly recommend Sit Happens if you’re having difficulty managing your dog on those walks or even when going to the vet which is stressful for most dogs, but with the training we received I think we will conquer those times as well.

We worked with trainer Danny to help our dog Coqui become less aggressive toward our other dogs and learn to be more obedient. Danny was patient and friendly from day one. Our dog was so nervous on the first day that he pooped everywhere, all over the house, but Danny remained professional and was understanding of the situation. Danny helped transform our squirmy dog into a less reactive one. He explained each exercise carefully, would demonstrate, and allow us to learn and improve from our mistakes as we worked with Coqui. During times when we had to text or call Danny out of the blue when situations at home escalated, he was attentive, responsive, and explained how to handle aggressive situations moving forward. I chose Sit Happens for training for my puppy/dog.  Their program works great.  Bella and I were assigned to Kendra as our trainer and she is awesome.  She worked with Bella and myself to correct Bella’s behavior as I needed some training also.  Kendra was very helpful in working with Bella to correct her behavior and giving me instruction on changing Bella’s behavior and maintaining her behavior for a much happier household.  Kendra is patient, firm and knows dog behavior and training techniques.  I could not have asked for a better trainer.  If you have a problem puppy/dog, Sit Happens is the program to  try and Kendra makes it work.  Thank you Sit Happens and Kendra!
