My husband and I contacted Jenna from Sit Happens with the goal of reducing unnecessary barking and socialization for our chihuahua, Elle. Jenna was great and always responsive with whatever questions we had for her. Our major goal was to take her out more and be okay with distractions. For our last session she was able to stay at a restaurant table and let people pet her and walk around which is major process! Jenna was amazing! For three years I struggled to get my dog in the car. He hated it! Jenna came over for the consult and really listened to assess the issue (she didn’t try to diagnose me as the problem like a lot of other places had done). When she told me we could solve the issue in 3 lessons, I was skeptical. Yet, I also appreciated that she didn’t try to sell me the most expensive package and reassured me that if we needed to add one more if we weren’t quite there, then she would do that for free. That’s when you know a company has confidence in its methods. So we kept practicing in between lessons and every time I had a question or something wasn’t working, she would text back immediately with some other ideas to try so that we could keep working towards success. And sure enough, on the 3rd lesson, my dog got in the car by himself! Didn’t even need to be bribed with a treat! Thank you Jenna, and the Sit Happens team! I would recommend them to anyone! My emotional support pet was actually causing me quite a bit of stress with his naughty behavior. Jenna from Sit Happens came to our rescue! She was able to immediately identify the cause of his behaviors and went to work on helping him feel more secure. She also gave me a lot of great advice on the proper leash and treats to use while training and she even helped us choose the right puppy food. She was able to explain to me how his little puppy brain works, and what he was thinking in different situations. Jenna is the best, my Fred is listed on the dangerous dog data base in Hillsborough County. So she observed all he did, and generally came up with no aggression except when he and her dog Astro shared a double sided water bowl, Fred made it clear that he likes to drink alone.
We went to the Pet Store, Home depot, Parks where there were children on the jungle gym, and lots of others activities going on, Just curiosity on Fred's part.
So, from then on, it was just getting him to mind me. Which in turn, it was actually training me to be in charge.
Jenna was wonderful, was able to give me tips on everthing I asked, and if I had a hard time with something she would be able to make adjustments. She was always a text away, not to waste time waiting for next lesson. I could go on and on. I recommend her for any issue you want to correct. I still need to continue working with Fred but I'm headed on the right path. Fred seems to much happier. and a more relaxed me.

Jenna is an amazing dog trainer. Honestly if I could rate her a 10/10 I would. She always listened to all of our concerns and taught us how to have patience with him during the training process. Our puppy is a new dog who actually listens to commands now. We loved the option to do at home training since we have a busy schedule. She has also always been flexible with our schedules. Thanks Jenna for the wonderful training of Macey Gray! She is a completely different dog from when we first started! She just turned one so she's still full of energy. However, Jenna has taught me ways of channeling that energy. She is walking so much nicer on a leash, will sit on "place" even with distractions outside. We have started taking Macey to public places and stores. She minds well, wants to please, and never meets a stranger human or dog! This training is worth every cent, but you MUST continue the training on your own throughout the week to get all the benefit. After a training session with and without Jenna, Macey comes home and plops down on the tile floor to rest. A tired pup is a good pup! If something comes up between training sessions, Jenna is just a text away. Thanks for all you've done!

I called Sit Happens 6 weeks ago because my dog Polly was very dog reactive. I hated taking her for a walk. It was a huge scene every time another dog walked by. My daughters actually refused to take her for a walk because it was so bad.
